39 posts · Joined 2014. #11 · Jul 20, 2016. I did mine by slacken the top cap, remove front wheel then remove fork from bike, taking the top cap off, let the old oil drain. Work then up and down a couple times to get old oil out. Then fill up with new oil, cap on and refit them to bike. S.

2092 posts · Joined 2012. #3 · Feb 5, 2019. I’m a 140lbs so I went with the 5w Honda fork oil. I used OEM fork seals. As stated as above since your a heavier rider you should use 10w. As far as the fork oil you use is like asking what oil we all use for our bikes. To each their own.
